The Act of Walking

2023 · Rome, Italy

The Act of Walking

An art residency project created at The Human Bridge, Rome. The project explores walking as an act of memory, displacement, and presence — centering the Palestinian body in motion through video, sound, and painting.

Bare feet on foreign and familiar ground; the walk as both ritual and resistance. Combining video documentation, watercolor studies, and a soundscape of recorded footsteps.
